About the Role
As a Domiciliary Care Assistant with PVHCare, you will play a vital role in supporting clients to live independently in their own homes. You will provide practical assistance, companionship, and encouragement to ensure dignity, safety, and wellbeing. Every visit is a chance to bring joy, confidence, and stability to someone’s life.
Key Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care (washing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
Support with medication prompts, recording, and safe practices.
Prepare healthy meals and assist with feeding where required.
Help clients maintain independence with household tasks (light cleaning, laundry, shopping).
Provide emotional support and companionship, reducing isolation and loneliness.
Monitor client wellbeing and report any concerns promptly to the care manager.
Maintain accurate records in line with CQC and PVHCare policies.
Respect cultural, religious, and personal preferences in all aspects of care.
Requirements
A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
Previous care experience is welcome but not essential (full training provided).
Right to work in the UK.
A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable.
