About the Role

As a Domiciliary Care Assistant with PVHCare, you will play a vital role in supporting clients to live independently in their own homes. You will provide practical assistance, companionship, and encouragement to ensure dignity, safety, and wellbeing. Every visit is a chance to bring joy, confidence, and stability to someone’s life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care (washing, dressing, grooming, toileting).

  • Support with medication prompts, recording, and safe practices.

  • Prepare healthy meals and assist with feeding where required.

  • Help clients maintain independence with household tasks (light cleaning, laundry, shopping).

  • Provide emotional support and companionship, reducing isolation and loneliness.

  • Monitor client wellbeing and report any concerns promptly to the care manager.

  • Maintain accurate records in line with CQC and PVHCare policies.

  • Respect cultural, religious, and personal preferences in all aspects of care.

Requirements

  • A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.

  • Previous care experience is welcome but not essential (full training provided).

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable.
